The water cycle which creates are atmosphere is a constant recycling process. Water evaporates off the ocean surface and goes into the atmosphere as water vapour clouds form due to particulate in the atmosphere which creates nucleate initiation points, when water vapour builds up it condenses and produces cumulus clouds and weather frontal systems causes fresh water rain.
This constant water cycle cause weathering of rocks, due to frost and erosion and corrosion of the earths crustal formation, rain water is slightly acidic that help break down rocks through a chemical weathering process which normally starting from mountainous terrains, glacial erosion all these things over eons have created run offs into the oceans producing salty seas, water is a great solvent solution keeps the seas salty with various minerals. The complex mixture 96.5 water and 2.5 salts. Chemical elements of magnesium, bromine, sodium chloride. They’re in ionic forms but the salt content does vary depending upon location evaporation and precipitation.
The water cycle is constant recycling process when I sailed across Atlantic Ocean a few years ago I was able to watch this process in action, cloud build up, precipitation and water gas evaporation.
Here where I have Black Swan at San Pietro there are old disused salt pans at the side of Carloforte town. Sea water was allowed into the salt pans each one was slightly shallower so as concentrate and accumulate the sea salt. I’ve always preferred sea salt over other types of sodium chloride salts. Back in the UK I particularly like Maldon Sea Salt maldonsalt.co.uk there’s nice film telling you all about the English sea salt of Maldon.

Hello there! This post could not be written any
better! Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate!
He always kept talking about this. I will forward this write-up to him.
Pretty sure he will have a good read. Many thanks for sharing!

Hi Vada, think you for your kind and positive comments about my blog posts.
When I started with my website I use to think I wonder if anyone will read them and find them interesting? I always think you should just write for yourself. It’s important that I find them interesting for me. Paul
