The affinities of all the beings of the same class have sometimes been represented by a great tree. I believe this simile largely speaks the truth.— Charles Darwin
For most of us and probably all other living life forms, life is a given “ it is what it is”
Albert Einstein two theories of special and general relativity means everything in the cosmos has a relativity. Darkness needs light, black needs white what I’m saying in reality is without life the cosmos wouldn’t know itself.
For me relativity is really profound, on occasions when I’m sitting on a train at the station looking out of my window and the next train starts to move, I’m confused “I’m I the one moving or is it the other train”? It’s only a fleetingly short mental aberration but I’m convinced that I’m the one moving. For me this is relativity in action.
What’s my point? if I wasn’t an observer to mentally observe this phenomenon it would be totally meaningless. Before I was born it was darkness I had no sense of reality or relativity and when I die it will be darkness with no sense of reality or relativity. Observers have to be alive to appreciate movement and relativity in action.
Life is not a given, maybe just maybe, life is a unique accident which happened completely by chance. If I was the only living life form on planet Earth or in the cosmos how would I feel psychologically? I would I’m sure have deep sense of desolation? Why and how would I maintain myself to sustain my life? I would soon die, there would be no food chain for me to maintain my biological systems. I would waste away and die!
So why do we constantly destroy life and destroy the very biosphere we need for our own existence?
I can’t understand this and I never will? What the corona pandemic has shown me is how we humans “the so called highest form of intelligent life” seems so utterly deluded over this deadly virus
Delusion meaning:, an idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder.
We humans sometimes find it difficult to comprehend reality. Like my relativity delusion in my mind at the station? “ I’m I the one moving or is it the other train”
Humanity has delusion about many things such as the climate slowly heating up due burning fossilised fuels and pumping gigaton’s of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and thinking that’s of no concern to life and humanity? Like over fishing the oceans we can go on killing life forms at our pleasure without consequences? Like chopping down forests laying waste to eco systems.
The delusion of people like Elon Musk and Geoff Bezos planning to go to Mars to live with out any natural planetary life support structure. Like I mentioned before, if I was the last living entity on planet Earth I know would soon die. That’s not a delusion either? That’s a reality!
Life is unique and precious and without it planet earth would be like Mars totally lifeless. So when will us humans shake ourselves out of our delusional way of being? I feel and felt for quite a long time it would take a complete catastrophe to shake us out of our delusion!
Humanities destructive nature constantly destroying so many living life forms with out a real care about the long term damage they’re inflicting. All the money in the world would be useless on a desolate planet without life!
For these selfish multi billionaires who want to go to Mars it has no life had no sustainable atmosphere for our metabolism. The chemical reactions in the body’s cells that change food into energy. Our bodies need this energy to do everything from moving to thinking to growing. Specific proteins in the body control the chemical reactions of metabolism.
There’s nothing on Mars to maintain life. Humans would need constant external life support to live. Water being the primary substance to live. Why would we want to ever live on Mars when we have the greatest most wonderful biosphere and living diversity the universe created by pure chance.
Planet earth produces such an abundance of life in all its wonderful, amazing and unique forms. I keep constantly asking myself Why O Why are we constantly trying to destroy every single life form and living entity and constantly trashing this unique biosphere with humanities discarded non ecological waste?
Are we all so short sighted and all so selfish and disconnected from reality of our living world. It’s back to relativity again, if we didn’t have a living biosphere none of us would be here it would be lifeless planet like Mars, Venus and Mercury!
But we live in world of political charlatans and libertarians who think big business has an ethical dimension to life’s well being? I don’t think so? It’s the very nature and weakness of the capitalism; Capitalism is often thought of as an economic system in which private actors own and control property in accord with their interests, and demand and supply freely set prices in markets in a way that can serve the best interests of society.
The essential feature of capitalism is the motive to make a profit. This is its inherent weakness private actors who own and control property in accord with their own interests?
This is the greatest paradox and inherent danger for life and humanity survival and its the very system that underpins it which is so flawed and the cause of the degradation of our beautiful, unique and diverse planet.
Capitalism by its very nature has been slowly but surely destroying life. For what? “paper money property and financial wealth”. Unfortunately capitalism corrupts everything it touches and in its very nature of resource competition and greed.
How can we make the changes needed to stop this destructive and corrupting mechanism? We need a totally different way of living a way to prevent massive capital accumulation.
Taxation was designed to equalised society and have control mechanisms in place to safe guard size and financial influence of large corporations. To break them down and to stop their monopolisation of business. But the whole financial system corrupts everything it touches including governments.
Albert Einstein Quotes;
“Everything should be made as simple as possible, if not simpler”
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”.
“Live life as if everything was a miracle”
The problem is we don’t? we’ve made the world far too complicated and we keep repeating the same old mistakes from one generation to the next.
We might have involved technologically but most of us don’t understand technology? And we certainly haven’t involved spirituality.
Must we all live in a disconnected reality in world of delusion?
